Arrows José Ortega could be wearing a new uniform soon. Word has it that Ariel City would like to swing a deal for the 38-year-old shortstop. A spokesperson for the team declined to comment. |
 | Thursday, September 9th, 2010: Zhuo-cheng Yue Lost for Season
Doctors in Springfield said Zhuo-cheng Yue may not play anymore this year. The Saints second baseman received a concussion during a game against the Hanover Giants and will be out for at least 3 weeks. Club officials told BNN they did not expect him to return to the team this season.
So far this season Yue is hitting .293 with 9 home runs. |

At the age of 32, Mark Turner might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Drexel first baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days collecting the Southern League Player of the Week Award.
He racked up 17 hits in 28 at-bats, 3 home runs and 9 RBIs last week in 7 games.
In his season totals Turner has 27 home runs and a .304 batting average. |
